Kidross was founded in 2021 by Jahmeil “Jammers” Dunkley during a time of loss and reflection. After the passing of his grandfather at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he found himself in a creative block. But in remembering him, he also found inspiration.

To Jahmeil, his grandfather was more than family — he was a presence. Always stylish, always standing out, always carrying himself with confidence. Fashion was his way of leaving a mark, and he realized the best way to honor his legacy was to carry that spirit forward.

That’s how Kidross was born — a brand that mixes Jahmeil’s artistic expression with his family’s passion for style. The name itself carries weight. Kidross was his grandfather’s nickname, and during a trip to Jamaica, he discovered its full version: Kidross the Atomic. Like many Jamaican names, it may sound unusual, but it held power and identity. Inspired by that, Jahmeil gave it new meaning:
